Congratulations to REVOLUTION Players at 2010 Pro Worlds
Congratulations to REVOLUTION TEAM members for several strong finishes at the 2010 PDGA Pro Worlds held at the Lemon Lake Disc Golf Complex in Crown Pointe, Indiana.
Eric McCabe Eric McCabe, from Emporia, Kansas, captured his first PDGA World Championship in the Open division. With strong rounds Friday and in Saturday's semi-final and final rounds. McCabe locked in a five throw margin of victory over the world's best disc golfers.
Paul Ulibarri Arizona's Paul Ulibarri led the Open division for the first four days of the five day tournament. Focused and driven, Ulibarri backed up his 2006 Am Worlds Advanced division title with a breakout performance against a strong international field.
Des Reading Des Reading, a three time PDGA World Champion currently residing in Wimberley, Texas, finished second in the Women's Open division. Bolstered by a fantastic 1007 rated 51 in Friday's morning round, Des held off a strong charge from Ohio's Valarie Jenkins to secure a fantastic second place finish.
Liz Carr Liz Carr led the Women's Open division after Tuesday's first round and carried that success to a strong 4th place finish and her second trip to the women's final 9 on Saturday afternoon. With two PDGA Natioanl Tour victories in 2010, Liz is a player on the rise and we're proud to have her on the team!
Steve Brinster Long-time REVOLUTION team member Steve Brinster locked in a seventh place finish with solid rounds throughout the week including a blistering 45 for the hot round of Saturday's semi-finals. With a mostly regional travel schedule in 2010, Brinster reaffirmed his position as one of disc golf's elite players with a great result on disc golf's biggest stage.
